Wheel of Fortune 11 – Seattle Sept. 8-11 2022

On February 21, 2000, Presidents Day, I was determined. Determined to skateboard on the roof of the Kingdome Stadium. It was something I’d been wanting to ride for years since they built it in the 70’s. Driving past it looking at the transitions on the roof how could I pass it up? I couldn’t. I knew that at some point in my life I would be up there riding it, and this had to be the day. They were going to blow it up soon. Time was of the essence.

I finally got off my ass to do another write up on a N.W. skater. I told Jeff at Skateboard Northwest that I would do a Tenderfoot story every month. This Turned out to be harder than I thought. Sorry it took so long. Anyway I’ve been skating with Manna pro Scotty Yamamura the last few months. During this time I’ve seen some sick skating. You might have seen Scott at the Sound and Fury contest where he busted a double kickflip mute over the so called “Peanut” Honda Civic.

Lately Scotts been working on a video of the U.D.S. riders and I’m sure you’ll see some insane footage of Scott and the rest of the team some time soon. If you’ve seen Scott skate you know what kind of tricks are in his bag. If you haven’t then all you can do is study these photo’s. All I can say is Scott is fun to skate with and he’ll bust out tricks that will Blow Your Mind !
