Skate Wars only existed for five months. It was built in an industrial building on a provisional basis and featured:

novice ramp

long jump

high jump

advanced ramp

24-foot halfpipe.

When the initial lease was up in May 1978, Skate Wars was going to work with the city of Burlington to stick around for a further 20 months in the Mountainside Arena.  However, the city slapped an unexpected monthly insurance charge that made the business unsustainable and the ramps were promptly sold off and the business dissolved.
