In the spirit of giving back, the Street League Skateboarding Foundation (SLSF) was established with the goal of increasing global participation in skateboarding and to create healthy, sustainable communities by promoting the inherent benefits of skateboarding throughout the world. Its founder, Rob Dyrdek, along with The California Endowment will join Councilmember Curren Price Jr., and Department of Recreation and Parks officials to celebrate the Grand Opening of the $330,000 state-of-the-art skate plaza in South Los Angeles. The design of this all-new 10,000 square foot skate plaza is a creative collaboration between Dyrdek, the local community, and the world’s premiere skate plaza construction company, California Skate Parks.

The Grand Opening celebration of the Gilbert Lindsay Skate Plaza marks yet another exciting endeavor by The Street League Skateboarding Foundation and we invite you to join us to come skate and meet with SLS Pros.

See you there!
