UPDATE: COMPTON CA. WANTS HELP WITH PARK

We are in the process of setting up a field trip to kick off the City of
Compton Skatepark design workshops.

Greetings,

The parks we will be visiting on our field trip have changed:

Orangewood Skatepark(1615 West Merced Avenue, West Covina, CA)
Belvedere Skatepark(4914 E. CESAR CHAVEZ AVE._park in lot on N. Mednic @ 1st street)
Houghton skatepark (6301 Myrtle Ave, Long Beach, CA)

Bring extra pads & helmets if you have them. Make sure your kids are padded up.

The bus leaves at 10am from Wilson Park in the City of Compton on Saturday Feb. 9th.

Greetings,

We are in the process of setting up a field trip to kick off the City of
Compton Skatepark design workshops. A few years ago we did a similar
field trip for the Belvedere Skatepark in East LA that Jeff Greenwood
participated in. We will be meeting up at Wilson Park in Compton @10am on
Feb 9th. Please see that attached flyer.

We’ll be visiting Belvedere Park, Santa Monica ‘The Cove’, and Glendale
skateparks.

Here is the workshop schedule:

Field Trip Saturday, February 9th @ 10:00 a.m. (meet up at Wilson Park)
Workshop Tuesday, February 12th @ 6:30 p.m. (Wilson Park)
Workshop Tuesday, February 26th @ 6:30 p.m. (Wilson Park)

Any skaters who live in the area are more than welcome to attend the
workshops. Wally Hollyday is doing the design for this park, so he’ll be
running the workshops.
