[January 25, 2011] – Sony today announced the signing of both Chris Cole, one of the most recognized skaters in the industry, and Tom Asta, one of the most exciting emerging skaters on the scene, to the newly founded PIIQ headphones team.
“Skate has always been at the forefront of culture, and is often the place where new music and new gear emerge first,” said Ken Byers, senior brand manager from Sony Electronics.  “Signing top pros like Chris Cole and Tom Asta is a perfect way for PIIQ to establish our roots in the skate scene. Look for us to expand to both snow and surf in the next year.”
