COSTA MESA Already recognized as a home for skateboarding in Orange County with its popular Volcom Skate Park, the City of the Arts will next open its doors to a professional skateboarding championship event.

The Maloof Money Cup, founded by Sacramento Kings and Palms Hotel and Casino owner Joe Maloof, will have its inaugural run July 11-13 during the opening weekend of the 2008 Orange County Fair.
