Richard Sanchez Doom Deck

Not a bladekiller This is hard, I’m trying to watch the Simpsons, write this review, I think I have homework, listen to music, I’m just not very good at this mulit-tasking thing. Homer just got kicked in the stomach by an ostrich, but then again this deck is pretty cool. Its so hard. I could turn the tv off, and focus on this, but then I’d write a really good review. I think I’ll just continue to watch tv, and write this at the same time, and do a mediocre job at both. Hey that’s the American way right? Ok Simpsons is over D’oh, I wish I could be like Christian and write stuff that was actually witty and clever, but instead I just write junk that gets slammed in the forums. One of my few joys in life is getting home from school and seeing all the bad stuff you people say about me except for that lousy Norcal Local Local who’s been ignoring me lately. anyways back to the review…

As far as losing your board, or getting it stolen isn’t too much of a concern. The guy at the front desk of the skatepark: Can you describe what the board looked like, “Well its like 10.5 inches wide with crazy spiderweb grooves in the side, oh yah and its got a giant spider on the bottom.” “Well you know we got a lot of those coming through here, but I’ll keep an eye on it.” There’s basically never been any skateboard like this, nor will there ever be one. Including the Sam Hitz bladekiller.

A lot of people buy these and hang them on their wall as art, which is completely cool in my opinion, because there are only fifty of these ever made each one hand numbered and signed by Richard. This board is a great shape, and although doesn’t look that way it is completely functional. It has a really good concave, and isn’t all that heavy for being 10.5 inches wide. Its a fun board to cruise on, jam through the park at top speed scaring every little kid in your path, rip a pool, bomb a hill, or pretty much anything else. Richard can destroy anything he skates on this board, so there’s no excuse that this isn’t a skateable board. I have so much fun riding this board, and love the expression of everyone who sees it, and even more when they step on it, and freak out on how fun it is to ride.

Richard has been skating for a long time and definitely stuck with it even when there wasn’t much to skate in LA. This guy was skating with Greenwood way back when concrete disciples started which shows you how long this guy has been around. Richard will call me up at random to go skate, or we’ll just happen to see each other at the park, and its always a blast skating with this guy. You basically couldn’t support a better guy, and I really think more people should ride this, because it would really stir the pot with what people think is a skateboard. So check out his site www.impatientyouth.com and buy some prints, wrist guards, decks, or something.

I told Dan-Dan I would put him up in the review if he made a boneless on it. He proceeded to do it first try then like 20 more after that.
