It’s kind of hard to say something that hasn’t already been said about Rocknron and his skate products. I mean do a search and you’ll find countless threads about his products and how much people like them. He goes out and skates practically everyday on top of running his bearing business and still produces quality skateboard parts. He’s not some head of a big company trying to cash in on skateboarding. I’ve talked with him before about why he does what he does. Why he goes out and tests all his products before manufacturing them, why he spends so much time coming up with products that actually work. He does all this because he’s a skater who wants quality skateboards and since no one else was stepping up to the plate he decided that he had to do something. Ron is the kind of guy who will never compromise quality to make more money. There aren’t many people out there like Ron.

Ron’s company started out as just bearings. Next he made decks, then trucks, and now wheels. The only reason Ron has decided to do this is because he wants to make a quality skateboard that will work great for skaters. Ron is passionate about what he does and enjoys coming up with ways to improve the skateboard. He settles for no less than perfection, and will never put out a product he hasn’t personally tested and approved.

When I heard Ron was going to make wheels I expected none less than amazing. I was even more excited when I heard he was going to call the wheel the OG Eddie wheel. Eddie Hadvina is a ripping skater who is always positive, and never wastes his time bashing other skaters on forums. He is very humble and never feels the need to tell you how good of a skater he is, but rather just skates and let you find out for yourself. You could call this wheel a pro model wheel, you could call it a bro model wheel, you could it whatever you want. Eddie would be riding this wheel regardless of his name being associated with it or not. Eddie doesn’t really care about any of this he just skates and has fun.
