Immortal Skateboards Deck Review

A few years back I was tooling around the San Dimas skatepark. It was a day like any day, then this dude in denim shorts shows up. He’s the kind of guy that wouldn’t stand out in a crowd. That was until he started to skate. He fucking tore the park down. My first thought was to go out and get some denim shorts for use as a sport’s enhancer; my second brain fart of a thought was “this guy rips!” So, fast forward a few years to me checking my email clad only in my stinky jeans, sipping my morning coffee. I got a message regarding my band logo on mesh hats at a super cheap price. I was curious to say the least. For one, how did this dude get my email, and second; how did he know I had a band and how come he doesn’t know we’re now extinct? I was puzzled, so I replied to this Martin Dole character. He replied back as to how he obtained my email and that he had a pricelist on his website: http://www.immortalskateboards.com. Immortal skateboards? I remember seeing those Immortal stickers all over the place but had never seen their stuff. Martin runs the operation so I asked him if he wanted a review on this here site, and he was more than stoked to oblige me. We agreed to meet at the Duarte Park since it was the middle point between our houses. I met some friends there for as session while I waited for the mysterious Martin to show up. Wouldn’t you know it, Martin turned out to be that ripper in the denim shorts from way back. We chatted for a bit and then he proceeded to annihilate Duarte! He can really rip shit up and so do his decks. He flowed me an 8 inch board and I totally dug it. Solid wood, made here! I found it functional on all terrains, and it didn’t succumb to sogginess. And he gave me some mesh hats to boot. He can heat-transfer whatever you want on his hats at a beyond reasonable price. So check out his site for all the info, and go skating!
