Eric Dressen Pro Model
Old Star Skateboards Eric Dressen Old Star Deck

Anybody ever see that Speed Freaks video that Santa Cruz put out way the hell back when? That video was always one of my favorites. Mostly due to the fact that it featured skaters from a ton of different companies and who each had their own style, but who rode the Santa Cruz wheel line. Those wheels rocked and I’m glad they’re making a comeback. Okay, I’m kind of trailing off the subject due to my beer intake as I write this. The reason I bring up that specific video, which I owned on a ratty ass VHS tape, is because the one part that always stuck out for me was the one that featured Eric Dressen. His style was so super smooth in that part, whether he was bombing a hill, skating street, or tearing up the old Vans factory ramp. So I was totally stoked when I received this board. It bears the cross logo, which harks back to the old Dog Town days. This board is produced by Eric’s skate shop, Old Star in Santa Monica. At 8 inches wide, it’ll satisfy all riders. It also comes in an 8 1/2″ model for those who require a wider cue. Cruise over to www.loosetrucks.com to find this board as well a ton of other stuff available from their online store.
