Tipaerui Skatepark is near the overpass right off the highway and also on the same exit as Pension Chez Mryna which is a hostel. (Chez Myrna address is 106 Chemin vicinal de Tipaerui)...If you stay with them, they will pick you up from the airport and you can just walk to skatepark!

Lots of ramps, quarters, wedges made with various surfaces (wood, metal, concrete)and a concrete mini. Some shade from the sun. Try to come when school is in or its pretty packed. You'd think they'd be out surfing, but the Tahitians dig the park.

Only 15 minutes walk or short skate to/from downtown Pape'ete. I highly recommend staying a hostel called Pension Chez Myrna owned by a nice German couple that is on the same exit/road as skatepark. Its difficult to find any reasonably priced accomodations so near Pape'ete, and Chez Myrna is right down the road. A 10 minutes walk gets you cooled off in the Sea after a day of skateboarding in the super heat.
