Came home to this on the doorstep after skating @philhajal ‘s ramp yesterday! Stoked to get one of these back for my collection. I wanted to say thanks to VBV (vert button Vern) @vernlaird for getting the ball rolling for this reissue board. We were talking at @tonyhawk vert alert last year about favorite boards and graphics and this graphic came up. Vern asked “ when is Powell going to do a reissue of your first board?” I said “ I don’t know, haven’t ever spoken to anyone about it” Right then, Vern texted @billy_bakker which started a back and forth conversation between the two, and the rest is history. Vern was the catalyst for this reissue, so all the board collectors that have texted, emailed or DM’ed me about when a reissue is coming out over the last 25 years, give @vernlaird and @billy_bakker a big 👊💥! Thanks fellas for making it happen. If you’re looking for one hit up @brianschaefer at @spottampa , I found out they just got a bunch in, or phil at @ocala_skate_shop might still have some left.
