Review Detail

Having grown up in Marysville, this is the park I always dreamed I might get to travel to California to see. I'm not much of a street guy in my old age, but it seems like the six star, box, rail, and ledges would have all been a blast in that phase. The bowl, however, is something Grindline should put on the top of their portfolio to show their best works. At a minimum depth of approx. 6 feet, this is NOT a great place for a beginner, but the transitions are mellow enough that anyone I've known who wasn't comfortable with head-high drop in's could enjoy the speed and flow once they got up the nerve. As much as I miss this being my local park, it will do a doozy on an older guy's legs pretty quick in an afternoon so be sure to pack some road sodas and be prepared to take some breaks if you're traveling far enough to warrant an all day sesh.
