They use Skatelite wood which is even more slippery than metal for their ramps. However, a huge amount of the medium to small ramps, rails and obstacles can be moved to suit the skater's wants.
Aside from the park itself, which is the best indoor one in east Tennessee, the Paradox is an awesome teen center with free video games, air hocky and billiards and even occasionally free food. For 5 bucks, you cannot beat it.
