If you feel like adding any text, the face lift Lansdowne got was concreting over a bunch of blacktop areas(creating tons of new lines), putting in some blocks & coping on select grind spots, & adding some ramps in the grassy area... -Aaron

This thing has been around since the 70s. It consists of a couple of snake runs that end in smaller bowls. It is located in a classic white trash neighborhood which probably how it escaped being developed all these years. The place may have hours and rules now. Perhaps additions are being made.

Lansdowne has been around since the late 70s. It was not the greatest park then or now but it is fun. Every generation of skateboarding has found a way to adapt the park to its own style. There is a snake run (a straight snake run) and some rounded banks and hips. No real transition to speak of. The park was "improved" in the mid-00s and made full pads but as of summer 2015 it is now HELMET ONLY if the pad nanny is there. If he's not there you can get in using a hole in the fence by the beginning of the snake run. Worth hitting for the history - you'll probably leave some skin behind too.

Gotta love a leftover park from the 70's thats covered in graffiti. Fun and fast with a more recent facelift adding a few curbs with metal pipe and filling in some grass/blacktop spots to make it more skateable. Didn't hit the prefab section but it has what you would expect. There is a pad nanny that shows up at 12(?) and makes you wear FULL pads even though the sign says they are only recommended. So you are gonna wanna get there early and bust out before he shows up. Enter through one of the many holes in the fence right next to the gate or up at the top of the path.
