Loogootee, Indiana is a tiny town of only 2751 people (as of 2010, according to Wikipedia) that's situated about halfway between Vincinnes and Bedford. The skatepark is just off of US 50, on a little street called Heritage Hill Street, behind the town pool. Built on a solid concrete slab, it's a fairly typical American Ramp Company (ARC) steel prefab skatepark, with fairly typical ARC obstacles: A smallish quarterpipe (about 4' tall and 6' wide), a large bank ramp with a launch ramp in the center of it, a short box that's about 8" high and 8' long, a weird "centerpiece obstacle" that's almost never skateable, and a couple of short (in height), but long railslide bars. If you're passing through, it's well worth the quick leg-stretching stop... it's not even 20 seconds out of the way from US 50... but otherwise, it's probably not worth much of a trip. -Bud Stratford, The Solitary Life/Everything Skateboarding Magazine
