This skatepark is a quite large and awesome skatepark. It has a feature you can't miss, the cradle with shape of a military helmet to honor Tinnell whom the park is named after.

Dedicated to Patrick Tinnell, a fallen soldier from Lake Havasu City and Colin Sasseen, a 14 year old Lake Havasu City native who lost his life doing what he loved - skateboarding - the 40,000 square foot lakefront multi-use skate park is a Street League Skateboarding-certified facility and is also open to BMX and scooters.

This is the largest of all Arizona skateparks, and the largest multi-use skate park in the Southwest. Whether you come to test your skills or just view the action, this park will impress. Its balanced mix of challenging obstacles make sure there is something for all levels of experience. Many events are held at the Tinnell Memorial Sports Park, including Basic Wake & Skate and Go Skateboarding Day. In addition to being a jewel among Arizona skateparks, the location within Rotary Community Park also makes many other facilities readily available, such as playgrounds, ballfields, beaches, volleyball courts and restrooms.
