From Betonpark: 2019 - Hybrid street and transition park - Gol Samfunnshus, Norway Gol Skatepark is designed around a central natural hill that is permeated by different skate routes. The different routes make up multiple street-style zones and an interconnected flow area. Special care was taken to preserve as much as possible of the unique topography and work within the existing natural qualities of the woodland site.
Keeping heights of ramps and jumps low, while increasing the number of flowing corners allowed us to create a multifunctional, flowing and all-inclusive skatepark design. The end result provides the extreme sports community of Gol with a fun and progressive skatepark.
