Nancy Skatepark

The Nancy skatepark was built in the Rives de Meurthe district, in the midst of urban restructuring. The plot chosen for the skatepark is located in one of the overflow basins that make up the linear park of the Cuénot esplanade. On this hollow site, very stretched out, the objective was to connect the various streets which border the basin by an alley, which could give back to the site the urban character which it was lacking. This alley, the real backbone of the project and dedicated to street practice, has been broken to connect directly to the side alley on one side and to the bus stop on the other. The breaks thus formed have made it possible to identify two distinct pockets, which accommodate a bowl and a flowpark. The different zones are all connected to each other but are distinguished by a different coloring of the concretes.
