4/20/2010Swonder is actually Evansville's hometown ice skating rink, that has a skatepark in the very far east side of the building. It's a nice, nice place... the ramps are all over the place in size and ability-range, they're extremely well-kept, and the place is always super clean. And, because of the ice right next door, it's usually comfortably cool and refreshing inside, too. Bonus! They do have some weird hours and session times, though... so, anyone that wants to check it out (which should be, everyone) might wanna head to the website- or, even better yet, call- for those. Make a day of it, and head over to Killers afterward, which is only a couple of miles away down The Lloyd from Swonder. -Bud Stratford/The Solitary Life
