My god. This pool was built by the gods of skateboarding. The Deitch Project is an exhibition pool that was originated in Germany about a year ago, and is now at it's final resting place, NYC. The permanent location has not yet been set, but it is in the art gallery until February 15th, 2003. It is a perfect wooden kidney pool with pool coping, and a right handed hip to the 8 foot deepend and a beautifully arc'd outer wall for massive airs. No pictures or video yet, the sessions have been 40 deep on the weekends, accompanied by a full art gallery of skate enthusiasts, tons of pros and talented freedom skaters like myself. So fun. So fun. So perfect. You won't be able to sleep the night after skating it, because you will still be going over lines in your head. Yeah NYC! Check my website soon for pictures and video from one of these crazy sessions. I have to convince a non-skater to come along with my camera because it is too unfair to have a skater stand there holding the cam. - www.tonymisiano.com
