Owned and Managed by: John Silver Niel Graham Jim Lindsay Bill Hansen

Oasis Skatepark has runs designed for day-one beginners, avid intermediates, and serious experts. The beginner area includes a mellow ditch, a small reservoir, and five bowls. This area provides an ideal place for the beginner to learn the basics of the sport.

The intermediate area includes a large freestyle reservoir, timed dual-ditch and downhill slalom, a downhill snake run, and a right angle ditch.

The "Pro" area includes a half-pipe and two eliptical pools with tile and coping. All three are very vertical. A ramp is also provided to offer new and challenging terrain.

The lifetime membership fee is $3.00 and is required to skate. The membership includes a free skate session, a photo ID card that will be good at all Oasis Skatepark locations (this is the only one at this time, but more are in the planning stage), and an Oasis decal.

A special note for minors: your parents signature on the release form must be notarized for insurance purposes, so send in for the membership package before you get there. It's very simple for your parents to take care of, and you won't miss any hot skating.

The admission price is $3.00 per session, and sessions run 22 hours, with starting times every 22 hours. The latest and complete line safety equipment is rented in the pro shop for 25 cents per item. Special group rates are available upon request.

The pro shop carries a complete line of high quality skateboards, accessories, safety equipment, clothes, and shoes. Amateur and professional contests are held on a regular basis.

There is also a game room, snack bar, and lounge and patio area with tables and benches.

Oasis is located in an ideal spot for skateboarding. It's close to the beach which attracts the sea breezes, and the skate runs are shaded by the existing freeway overpasses.
