Directions
To find this spot you need to get on Burnside Dr. and head East out of downtown Portland. You'll go across the Burnside bridge and have to take your next right. Its underneath the bridge. Then take another Right turn and go to the bottom of the hill. Make another right to go towards the bridge and you can't miss it on the right hand side.

You are probably familiar with the Burnside story, but here's a brief recap... The skaters started building a couple obstacles in a run down drug addict infested part of town. They wanted more and were given the ok by the city to build out the skatepark. It has been built entirely by the local skaters and with no funding except the occasional donation from a skate company to fix things up. The drug addicts moved on so the city was stoked. LONG LIVE BURNSIDE!Now its shredded daily by the local talent. It's been in better shape in the past, but it has stood strong as one of the worlds best skateparks for quite some time.

The park itself is awesome. Had a great skate. The locals get whiney as hell. Some scooters showed up and the locals tried to scare them out the park tho they failed hilariously

Must-Go
This place is sick and legendary. The ground isn't as great and smooth as some of the other parks, but that jus adds to the gnarlyness, so many sick lines. Def takes a while to get used to, so I would recommend going early to get your lines down. There are bad stories of sketchy people and unfriendly locals, but everyone was nice when I went in the morning, and I was able to skate alot, and not get in anybodies way. Jus go and have fun, and if it gets hectic take a seat on the side and watch some epic riding!!
