I disagree with peachblaster. I started skating in the mid 80's in and around N.O. The only parks I saw were in the mags. Or the "hellhole" drainage ditch under the west bank expy. So I am extremely greatful for this little park. While certainley not the best, I think ther's plenty to occupy my time with. And the isolated area means less aholes there just looking to cause trouble like you'll find in Hammond/dreamland. My only complaint are the 7-10 yr old razor scooter brats who are not chaperoned by their parents. They drive me fing nuts!!!!!!!!!!!! Razor scooters are an abomination!!!!!!!!!!

state park skate park
the skate park is in the fountainbleau state park. completely isolated from any neighboorhood, it's not even easy for these kids to get to their below par skate park!
