It's in Centennial Park on the southern end of town. >From the south (for example, from St. Louis, MO), Take I-55 North until it intersects I-72. It's one of the first couple of Springfield exits. If you're coming from the north, (for example, from Chicago), it'll be one of the *last* Springfield exits. >From I-55, take I-72 West. After about 5 miles or so, take Exit 91 (Wabash Avenue). At the end of the exit, turn right, and then be ready to make a quick left onto Bunker Hill Road. Follow Bunker Hill for approx. 1/4 to 1/2 mile, then turn right onto Lenhart Road. The park is inside the black chain-link fence. If you can't find it, just stop and ask a local how to get to Centennial Park, and they should be able to tell you. P.S. About a mile or two before you get to the Wabash Ave. exit on I-72, look to your left, and you'll see one of the biggest "half-pipes" in the world. :-) (You'll get the joke when you actually see it.)
