This is one of the best free skateparks I've ever been to. It is so convenient that there is a skateshop just 3 blocks away just in case the occasional deck snap or axcel slip. you know, the usual. Well this is the best free skatepark in America. It has it all; bowls halfpipe, street terrain and everything. I say you check it out. One minor detail it needs sweeping really bad. You can't walk around without getting your new deck dusty. Denver Skatepark is open and ready to be annihilated! Take a look at these Bowls Everywhere.

Denver skatepark is one of the biggest and best free skateparks I have ever been too. I was blown away at how much terrain you can ride. You can go nuts all day long in one area of the park and not even use the whole thing. I stayed in the Vert bowl mainly because it's kind of a rare thing in all the parks that have opened in the past 5 years. I also hit all the other bowls except for the ankle deep ones splattered around the perimeter. They added a new street course this past year and it's like a banked snake run with nothing but stealth fighter looking angles. There was already quite a large street course there so it's just gotten better.

This park is easily a 10. It sounds like they might even add a vert ramp and ramp style street course next summer across the street. If your cruising through Denver is conveniently located downtown. Just off the I25 freeway.

One of the best parks I have skated. There are obstacles for anyone of any skill level to skate here. There are four fantastic bowls in the back ranging from 3-10ft, a street section in the front with a plethora of varied obstacles, some quite novel, there is a pump numb bowl with a quarter at the end, and of course there are the coping less bubble bowls. I could not recommend this park more highly.

The bowls here are all super good, ranging from about 3 ft to 11 ft with nice, smooth concrete. The coping is mostly perfect and the bowls all have very good flow. The tranny is a pretty tight in the shallow and the bowls have really nice flow, except for one weird clover shaped one. My only complaint is that the tranny isn't perfectly poured like the newer parks and can be a little bumpy in some areas. Still 5 stars though.

The street section is kind of a different story. There are a few nice ledges and gaps and a really nice flatcar, but it was obviously designed by non skateboarders. There are a couple ridiculous handrails and stairs that go into quarters and some of the banks are a little steep. If you're looking to skate street near Denver, don't go here. Go to Thornton, Broomfield, Arvada, or Erie.

This and the Arvada Skatepark (30 minutes away) are the 2 best skateparks I've ever ridden. This park is nuts. You really could spend a week here and not get bored at all. It has 5 bowls (including a monster deep bowl which is wonderful), and a huge street area. It's open till 11PM, well lit, and free. The night I was there, there were about 200 people, and it did not even feel crowded, there is that much to skate! Endless lines for all levels, and a perfect use of space!

I came here on a hot day in July after I went to the Arvada skatepark. The moguls were really fun on my bike and so were the bowls. I sort of had to get used to the 6' radius on the quarter pipes instead of 7'. I spent a lot of time on this line where I would ride the moguls and then jump some 6' hips in the street section. Definitely go to this skatepark if you're ever in Denver.
