Foothills Skatepark, aka "Union Hills Skatepark" (as it's more commonly known), is one of the better skateparks in the Phoenix Metro area. Home of the Grey Beard Crew (found on Facebook under Prevent This Tragedy), it features a large and well-outfitted street course (set into a shallow bowl); a mid-sized amoeba bowl; and a deep, fast, and tight offset-eight-shaped bowl. The park also has picnic tables and shade areas, as well as water fountains, restrooms, and a well-stocked Cowtown Skateshop right next door to the park gate. It's a fairly famous park; a lot of demos come through here, and it's also the home of the annual Cowtown Union Hills Classic contest. Fast, smooth, lots of variety for skaters of all ages and abilities, this one's a winner. It also happens to be my "home" skatepark (when I'm actually at home, and not randomly traveling around the Great American Southwest somewhere.) -Bud Stratford, Everything Skateboarding/Concrete Disciples, Saturday, February 10th, 2018 _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The skatepark has big bowl, medium bowl/weird clover w/spine and a street area not for wimps! Here is a shot of Jay screaming the roll in gap at the soon to open Glendale Arizona park located on the North west corner of 59th Ave and Union Hills Road. This park was poured by Hardcore Skateparks. It rips! One not to miss if visiting the Phoenix area! -Enjoy.. Mike Slater Sl8sk8!

5752 W Union Hills Dr
Northwest corner of 59th Ave and Union Hills Drive in Glendale. From the Loop 101 (Agua Fria freeway), take exit 19 (59th Ave exit), and turn south on 59th Ave. Go .9 mile, and turn east (left) onto Union Hills Drive. The skatepark is 2/10ths of a mile east on Union Hills Drive, on the north (left) side of the road; you'll have to go past the park, turn around at 57th Ave, and head back west to get to it, as Union Hills is a divided road with a median strip.
