Goreville Skate Park - Goreville, Illinois, USA

GSP is the newest skate park to come to Southern Illinois. The skate park was established in June 2010 after an eighth grade student at Goreville School submitted a letter to a local newspaper challenging city officials to build such a park. The students actions paid-off with the development of a skate park that all of Southern Illinois can be proud of. Good Job Micheal Squellati! GSK will host the 1st Annual Cat Jam 2011 Skate Competition on September 17, 2011. Over $500 cash, trophies, decks and more will be given away.
