This park was built as a poor response from the city as a place for the skaters to skate unharassed. It's just a fun box, a quarter pipe and a rail. For a better time skating in Yreka, go to the high school on the northside. There's a quad with ledges on the main campus and an awesome rideable wall and grindable ledge w/ a rail and stairs on Knapp St by the football field.. The College of the Siskiyous on the southside is a good spot, too. When I was young, we would skate on top of the Bottling Works Mall where it's a natural halfpipe, but I didn't tell you that. There used to be a dope indoor park in Yreka called Rolling Thunder. Yreka is worth a day trip for skating if you've never been there.
