The Tashkeel Arabic Ramp was designed by me Bradley Kirr brad@skateparc.com. From the side it spells "Tashkeel" or, translated "art" in Arabic. It was made for the daughter of the King of Dubai as an art exhibit but gained notoriety in design magazines and art museums so it stayed up as long as possible. While this ramp was up it was a golden age of Skateboarding in Dubai where the king's daughter, Sheikha Lateefa, invited anybody and everybody, especially local kids, to participate often giving them free food and drink while attending.
