FEATURES:
Skateboard Odyssey is called the "undercover park," and for good reason. To the best of our knowledge, it is the first fully enclosed, indoor park. They feature five runs including 200' of half pipe with 14' of vertical wall in the center. There is a 170' snake run for advanced skaters that empties into a 14' deep bowl, and a beginners' snake 110' long which empties into a 6' deep bowl. The "Mogul Boguls" are four interconnecting bowls, two 8' deep, one 6' deep, and one 10' deep, forming a cloverleaf. The bowls are 18' and 20' in diameter.
MEMBERSHIP:
A $3.00 annual membership fee is required, which includes a photo ID card. Persons from out of town will receive one day of free skating when they purchase the membership. A special $10.00 lifetime membership is also available which includes a park decal, T-shirt, and a 10 percent discount in the pro shop.
Admission to the park is $2.50 per two-hour session and sessions run continuously, so you can start as soon as you arrive. Safety equipment may be rented in the pro shop for 25 cents per item.
FACILITIES:
The pro shop is well stocked with a wide variety of skateboarding equipment and jewelry. Staff members will give pointers to beginners, and all personnel are trained in first aid. Regular contests will be held in the future as soon as a program is developed.
Vending machines are available with an assortment of cold drinks and snacks, and the game arcade features pinball, foosball, and video machines.
