From the San Bernardino Freeway (Interstate 10), take the Indian Hill Blvd. exit and drive south to Holt Blvd. Turn right and drive two blocks to East End Avenue and turn left. Grand Prix Pomona is located just across the railroad tracks on the left.

FEATURES:
Grand Prix Pomona offers a demanding track, whether it be for the beginner or pro. The beginners section has bowls and runs over various terrain. There are two enlarged reservoirs with depths of 4' and 7'. The cloverleaf bowls are 4', 5', 6', and 7' in depth.
A 150' half pipe goes from 2' of semi-vertical to 10' of height with 4' to 5' of vertical, and drains into a small runoff bowl. The half pipe is also set up for electronically timed slalom events with timing by a Zetachron digital timing device. The records are kept and weekly prizes are awarded at the end of the judging period.
The serpentine is a 185' banked run that leads into a 13' deep bowl, 25' in width, and has 3' to 6' of vertical, and an 85' snake run empties into a 8' tight pool bowl.
One of the big features of this park is the Motoboard. You can zip around the timed track on these and try to beat the track record. You can race against yourself or other racers on the half-mile track.
MEMBERSHIP:
The lifetime membership is required to ride at the Grand Prix Pomona, and costs $2.00. You will receive a photo ID card that is necessary to purchase admission. The two-hour sessions cost $2.00 and start every half hour. All required safety gear may be rented in the pro shop if you don't have your own.
FACILITIES:
The pro shop carries a complete line of skateboarding accessories and features the fine line of Pro-Am products. A program for regularly scheduled contests is in the planning stage, and lessons for beginners are offered on an informal basis.
A game arcade is on the premises with 62 pinball machines and video games, and a snack bar carries hot sandwiches in addition to the soft drink and munchie machines. Every Friday and Saturday nights dances are held with a live band between 8 p.m. and 11 p.m. No alcoholic beverages are allowed.

While this park seemed abandon before anyone had a chance to really explore it (I never saw anyone ride it and the sole person I spoke with that visited it was Chris Miller) it had an interesting half pipe and some fun items. We never skated it more than 40 minutes at a time as we had to do so under the threat of law enforcement. That said, it was fun at a time of lack of formal terrain plus it is in the BADLANDS! Note: it had a HUGE arcade and a go cart track attached.
