Endless Wave Skatepark - Oxnard CA

FEATURES:

As we go to press, the Endless Wave has six runs in operation, with more on the way. The advanced snake run is 175' long, with 8' to 9' depths and radical turns before emptying into a 9' by 24' bowl. The novice snake is 150' long and empties into a small bowl whereas the "Tadpole,” a 75' snake, empties into a 9' by 24' bowl. The reservoir is 40' by 60', with the shallow end 4' deep and 9' on the deep end. The dual pool is two pools interconnected to work together, and there is also a 75' half pipe.

The slalom run and the freestyle area are now under construction, and should be completed soon.

MEMBERSHIP:

The required lifetime membership fee is $3.00, and you will receive a photo ID card. Regular admission is $2.50 per two-hour session, and they start every two hours on the even hour. Persons visiting from out of the immediate area can waive the membership re quirement for one day. All necessary safety gear may be rented for 25 cents per item.

FACILITIES:

Val Surf of North Hollywood operates a pro shop at the Endless Wave carrying a full line of high-quality skateboarding equipment. A program is being developed for lessons to be given for all phases of proficiency, and a park-sponsored team is also being plan ned. A snack bar will be built in the near future, and cold drinks are sold at this time.
