FEATURES:
Sidewalk Surfpark is a one-acre facility that will appeal to both beginning and advanced skate- boarders. The park features five separate snake runs varying in length from 100' to 150', with each run ending in a bowl. This is a good place to learn park riding with a variety of banks and bowls. There are also places for advanced skaters to perfect new maneuvers.
MEMBERSHIP:
Although membership is not required to skate at Sidewalk Surfpark, there are two optional programs available. The $10.00 membership gives you one and a half hours of free skating with full safety gear, a park T-shirt, a discount in the pro shop, and discount admission. The $4.00 membership includes everything except the free skating time. Members also have the privilege of renting high-quality demonstration skateboards.
Admission for nonmembers to ride is $1.50 for a 45-minute session and $3.00 for a 90-minute session.
Members get in for $1.25 for 45 minutes and $2.50 for 90 minutes. Sessions run continuously, you can start skating as soon as you arrive.
All required safety gear may be rented in the pro shop for 25 cents per item.
FACILITIES:
The pro shop at Sidewalk Surfpark contains a wide variety of the finest skateboard equipment and accessories, including Logan, Tunnel, and ACS. With a purchase of $20.00 or more, you receive 45 minutes of free skating.
Plans are now underway for regular contests. So for further details on these contests, stop by the pro shop.
The game arcade has seven pinball and video machines and fountain service includes lemonade, soft drinks, and assorted goodies.
Lessons are given by park staff for beginners, and recognized groups can receive a half-price discount. Check with the pro shop for details on these.
