A mystery park open less than a year

There is very little information recorded about this Odessa park.  A $15,000 permit to "remodel a building and build a skatepark" was granted to contractor Edward Story in October 1977.  In December 1977, an advertisement said the park would be "coming soon."

Then a January 27 1978 ad said the park and arcade were open. By September 1978, however, the park appeared in a real estate listing as being for sale.  This was not an uncommon occurrence for the time since most parks were profit ventures that didn't drew profit, but it is unclear if the park was still open at that time.  The last mention of the park was in a police blotter in February of 1979, when the park was burglarized while it was closed for Winter.
