Remember when you were a little squirt and everyone sported those kick ass iron on shirts. The shirts emblazoned with designs ranging from that green fuzzy bird looking guy flipping the bird to surfers on big ass tubes to exaggerated hot rods. Well kids, they’re making a comeback! Holoubek Studios, which was at the forefront of t-shirt art since Jesus was a baby are back with a vengeance with their Heavy Rotation lines. Their catalog has all those cool ass designs that we all grew up with. You could have one of those designs on a new shirt, instead of going on Ebay or Melrose avenue and end up spending twice as much for an old crusty tee with someone else’s armpit stains. And don’t we all like to buy a shirt to make it our own? I know I do. To make it even sweeter to the crusty old school slash dog in all of us, they have a series of shirts with photos of some of the Z-boys like Jay Adams and Marty Grimes, slapped across them. They’re photos taken by Glen E. Friedman way back in the day and look way cool. This is perfect gear for the summer. These must look cool, because I made a beer run to my local 7-11 and the stoner cashier behind the counter was more than dazzled by the design on my shirt. It couldn’t get much better than that. So check out www.holoubekstudios.com for info, and definitely get a catalog, they have a ton of cool shit.
