PACIFICA CA. CONTEST SERIES 07
The second annual Pacifica Skatepark Triple Crown Contest Series 07 began with the Heart Bowl contest on Saturday, June 23rd. Winners include Frank Williams, Akea Tolentino, Riki Kim, Kailani Tolentino, Shawn, Jessie, Matt Cole, Brandon Ayala & Matt Dodge. The second event is on the Street Course on Saturday, August 4th. The final event is on Saturday, September 8th.
This is a points series, meaning there is not only individual winners, but an overall winner for each division. The overall winners have their names engraved on the permanent perpetual plaque in the city building next to the park.
This contest is organized by the University of Suring, LLC and the Pacifica Skatepark Committee. Info and sign up forms are available at www.universityofsurfing.com , send entry forms and check to 491 Firecrest Ave, Pacifica, CA 94044.
There are 7 divisions: 5 & under, beginner, intermediate, advanced, girls, best trick, doubles, sponsored and masters. They take place in that order and go all day long from 9 to 5. Cost of entry is $15 per event if fee is received one week prior to event.
Late sign up fee is $25. Please come out and compete or cheer on the skaters.
