| RILEY STEVENS |
| MRZ |

I caught up with Riley Stevens at Channel street the other day and a quick six was in order. Riley skates fast and has a deep bag of tricks.
I gave him the standard interrogation.
CD: Hey Riley. What's up? Here's some questions for you. You know , the standard stuff.
CD: How old are you and how long have you been skating.
RS: I'm 19 and I've been skating for over 7 years.

NINJA SHIT!
CD: Yeah oldman. HAHA. Who's hooking you up?
RS: Transitions and Vans flow
CD: All you need now is a food sponsor and your set. What got you started?
RS: Well, my mom moved me to AZ and there's pretty much nothing to do but skate so...
CD: Are you originally from AZ?
RS: No. I was born in Arcadia CA. I lived in AZ for 5 years and then moved back here to LA.

Boneless.
CD: Arcadia? You gotta get the big Arcadia tattoo on your belly like Grosso. Arcadia pride! HAHA I always thought you were from AZ. When I first met you thru Hamrock that's where he said he knew you from. Speaking of Pork stone, got any stories?

Frnt D
RS: Yeah, I was like 13 and he took my hat. He put it on the nose of his board and was skating on it. Fucking destroyed it. He tried to give me one of Duane Peters' old gloves to make up for it. HAHA
CD: That sounds like Hamrock. HAHA Okay , Where do you usually skate? What's your favorite spot.

Frnt board
RS: Pedro and Chino are my spots of choice.
CD: Alright. In a heated session, what's your go to trick?
RS: I like back tails and probably a fs air.

Back tail

FSA
CD: You do have back tail slides on lock. What's on the to do list?
RS: You know, filming, finding new shit to skate. I really want to go to Mammoth.
CD: Mammoth is REAL good. So when your not skating what are you into?
RS: Hanging with my chick , 3"s , eating and sleeping.
CD: The basics. What skater / skaters do you look up to and respect?
RS: Cardiel , Heddings , Hewitt , all the DLX heads.

Into the new deal.
CD: I mentioned Grosso's Arcadia Tattoo. ( I actually think Jeff's is classic) What's the worst tat you've ever seen?
RS: My cousin got a cross on his arm for his first tattoo and it's all crooked. I have one that I drew. It's just a little skateboard.
CD: What's on that Ipod?
RS: King Diamond , Venom , Dystopia , Darkthrone , and Slayer.
CD: Easy listening HAHA So, did you skate a shit load of pools when you were in AZ/ What's the most you hit in one day?
RS: It's funny you ask. I only skated two pools the whole time I was out there. I don't think the AZ pools compare to the CA pools.
CD: What? Only two? Last time out there I was blown away by the number of pools to skate. Your right, there a little different. Lots of deck coping. Not bad just different. But I know there's some gems out there. Ever really break yourself off? What's your worst injury from skating?
RS: I broke my leg. That sucked.
CD: Here's another standard questions. Describe the best session.
RS: The best session is when it's just me and the homies down under the bridge at Pedro.

The homies.
CD: Cool. Alright any last words or shout outs?
RS: Yeah, thanks Transitions, all my friends , and everyone who has hooked me up over the years.
CD: Thanks Riley for answering all my lame questions and keep ripping!
