| MATT BOYSTER |
| MRZ |

Matt Boyster doesn't talk much, but his skating speaks volumes. I did manage to get him to answer a few questions and I got some pix while he was getting ready for the Pro Tec.
CD: How old are you Matt?
MB: I'm 19.
CD: How long have you been skating?
MB: I've been skating off and on for 9 years.

CD: Who are your sponsors?
MB: SMA and Bones.
CD: What's the best part of riding for SMA? The worst?
MB: The best part is everyones real cool and the worst part is sometimes it's like the blind leading the blind.

CD: What got you into skating?
MB: My big brother.
CD: So, it's a family thing. Cool.

CD: If you could have any sponsor you wanted who would it be and why.
MB: Which ever sponsor pays the most . That way, I won't have to get a job and then I'll have more time to skate.
CD: Where do you usually skate and what's your favorite spot?
MB: I like Culver City and Vans. I've also been skating some vert. (Ramp)

CD: In a heated session, what's your go to trick?
MB: I'll jump off of something.
CD: What's on your to do list? What trick are you working on?
MB: I'm working on some flip tricks.

CD: When your not skating what are you into?
MB: I'm usually working on my car or my dirt bike. Just other stuff.
CD: Someone told me your into golf and that's the reason for the bermuda shorts? True or false?
MB: FALSE.
CD: I believe you.
CD: What skater (if any) do you look up to or respect?
MB: Danny Way.
CD: He's crazy, you know that right?

CD:What tunes are you listening to while skating? What gets you hyped?
MB: I listen to a wide range of music. I don't even know what you'd call it.
CD: Who do you usually skate with?
MB: I usually just skate with my friends and my girlfriend.
CD: Your girlfriend skates? That's cool.
CD: What's the Worst injury you've gotten while skating?
MB: I stub my toe once.
CD: Are you kidding me? As gnarly as you get, you've only stubbed a toe? Damn. You got some luck going.

CD: Best session?
MB: Well, if you can call a contest a session, I'd say the Soul Bowl.
CD: Tell me again why your not on the A list at Vans.
MB: From what I've been told, I gave the management sooooo much attitude about getting on the A list that I have now lost that privilege.
CD: Now your on the D list. As in done. Whatever, I'm sure they'll forgive and forget someday. That's pretty funny though. Your a quiet guy and I can't imagine you giving them "attitude". sounds more like a misunderstanding to me.
Speaking of Vans, Are you ready for the Protec?
MB: I hope so.
CD: I think your more then ready. Anyway, that pretty much wraps it up. Thanks the photo opps. It's always great watching you rip.
Any shout outs or last words?

MB: Yeah. Hi Mom!
Thanks Matt. Good luck at Vans!
