Its a great place to skate. Bowls are challenging to say the least.

This was a nice try at local government putting in a skate feature for the kids (and old dudes like me) ... my oldest (12) loved it and my youngest (10) hated it. If I lived closer I could get used to it and would hit more often and probably grow to like it ... for our one-time pass it was okay and I'd recommed a stop if you are within 10 miles, but don't trek for this place ... Ollie's (in KY) would be better use of your time if you are that close ...

Local Skatepark and Sessions in Cincinnati are the same place ... Local is the current name ... see my review in the Sessions ... give it a miss

My kids learned to skate here and begged to go back until they got better and we found other parks close by ... staff is great, no beef with the place ... just very limited to what they offer in terms of skateability

Just skated this barn today. The guy who owns it just resurfaced the spine ramp and vert ramp with new masonite. They are in really good shape. The spine ramps is a lot of fun and pretty fast. The surface is a bit dusty, but what do you expect? It is in a barn. When not in use, the owner keeps large plastic tarps over the ramps to protect them from the leaky roof. If you go by yourself, it would be pretty difficult to take the tarps off and put them back alone. Luckily, i had some help. The fee is basically a donation. There is a box mounted on the wall. It can be a little tough to find, especially as the sign described above is now obscured by some trees. If you live in eastern Iowa or western Illinois, it is definitely worth checking out. I plan on going back often. :)

A complete skatepark of the highest order. It needs to be seen and skated to understand. Go there.

bowl is super fun; well designed and built by Breaking Ground Skateparks(RIP). I can't speak to the street section at all. While I respect the rights of scooters and bmx riders to use the park they just annoy the hell out of me personally and there are lots of them here. Last Sunday around 11 am there were 15 people in the park: 4 skaters, 7 scooters and 3 bmx. Ugh.

Well worth your time. Try to go at an off time so you don't run into the little kids on razor scooter crowd. Met a few old guys there and had a cool time early in the morning.

Really nice park! Two nice bowls, one with a small snake run. Cool banks, street area, its got it all. Really cool.

The only good thing left there is the mini-ramp (for now). Be ready to dodge basketballs and non-skaters running around.This is a church now so they have taken out 2/3 of the ramps. My advise is, if you have to travel for more than 1/2 hour to get here, don't. You'll be disappointed.
