I think this is the same "OFFICER DUDE" I dealt w/@ the harbor too-was running an DUKW tour during an event where trolley lane was blocked- had seen him pull up behind me in his bubblemobile, & just finished giving my passengers the Coast Guard required safety drill, when I saw his head poking up from street level - to try & be accomodating but stay in the fun mode for the tourists, I said, "oh hey, I'm outta here, dude" - his head looked like it was gonna explode, & he screamed at the top of his lungs, "WHAT DID YOU JUST CALL ME???!!!!" I was actually taken aback @ how stupid this idiot looked to a crowd of mostly out of towners, but I really couldn't help myself either: "I'm sorry, sir", I said, "I meant Officer DUDE." & with that, half a dozen people laughed in his face, I hit the music which was coincidentally the theme to Hawaii 5-0, and away we went - my manager happened to be standing behind the guy at the time, & he said when we left the Dude muttered something about "no respect for the law". yeah, right! Afterwards, a passenger came up to me & gave me a $20 tip, laughing, saying it was for me "to get out of jail, that guy was really pissed off!!"
Now I'm wondering if I'm the spark to set off this dude? (I'm also thinking about contacting the Dept & mayor's office to let them know there seems to be a pattern w/this asshole)

As for the video... WOW! What a bag of douche that cop is. 17 year vet, and he yells at harmless kids like that? Fire him and call it a day. the kid & his friends were interviewed last night on channel 13 news, along with his mother, who's a pretty hot blonde mom - she's pretty damned pissed @ officer dude too, & says she wouldn't accept an apology from him if he turned up @ her door. hint: lawsuit.
They also interviewed the mayor of harm city, & she's not happy w/officer rivieri either.

Unfortunately that cop fits the same faulty personality type
most of us encounter everyday. He was probably picked on in
high school, developed resentment / alienation issues, then
became a police officer to over compensate for his own
sense of self loathing. In the process he became an abuser of
power and control because he has to get revenge on all those
people who picked on him in gym class. He was that fat spaz
kid who always got picked last, that we all laughed at.
Joey bag o' Donuts, the meter maid, just needs a hug...
and to be sued and sentenced to anger mgmt, then fired.
