Where was everybody? It was a great pleasure skating with Bree and the Canadian crew...they were ripping the bowl. Also skated with young Shano and Kiko....

Some of us made the trek up to Venice this morning before SPSA, fun park. It looked crowded but most everyone was just standing around. Plenty of skating got done......the Canadians were in the house...

Good times! This is my first time posting but I was readin' up the Venice park on here last week and inserted it into my weekend plan. Drove down from Santa Cruz to Newport Beach for halloween and convinced the lady friend to give me 20 minutes at the park Saturday.

It was a little crowded but still lots of fun. Driving 6 hours in a cramped single cab truck, seeing the park and only having 20 minutes to skate it was a bummer. Would have been real fun in costume [Tapatio man.] Can't wait to come down again on a weekday morning and skate it [and other parks] as long as I want, and I'll leave the woman at home.

The cops are coming after me! their sons are BMXers! They always try to stop me but urethane is faster than boots!

Thanks Eddie for the pics. You can call me whatever, people have been messing up my name since birth so I'm used to it. Christian just calls me Richard. I couldn't make the next Sat session; I was busy skating Baldy and then a Skull Skates demo. In the end I ended up skating the Venice park three times. It's a fun park. The bowl is easy to ride once you get used to all the flat. See you in Feb Eddie!

It seems my friends liked the old park more then the new one. Actually they were just avoiding the crowds.
