hmmmm.... considering they just got to the ACE warehouse yesterday, the quickest they could have got them would have been today, 11/27 and to now have 10 more sets? I would have to say "caveat emptor". Make sure you don't just press the pay button without actually speaking to someone that will confirm their stock.

There is a note in the product pages for Ace Trucks 00,44,55,and 66s.
"If you ordered on 11.27, your order will ship 11.29, if you order after 11.28 your order will ship 11/29". When are the Ace Trucks in the larger sizes coming has been the #1 truck question we have received this year so when I knew they were en route to the shop the trucks were posted.. Sold out quick so our new order will show up at the shop on Friday (2 days from Norcal). Stoked to finally be able to ride some soon..

Hey guys, ven thought our first ad (available all over the web) had a chart with suggested board to truck sizes here are some real world lengths for you (in millimeters).
00=98.43
11=114.3
22=127
33=136.53
44=146.05
55=161.93
66=171.45
77=187.33 (not available yet)
Remember to add 63.5 mm total for axle length and that other companies have always used random numbers to describe their truck lengths as well.

to convert to inches take
(hanger size in mm)+63.5/25.4= axel length in inches

wanna try 'em, am a sucker for the "Indy stage 3" hype, but... China???(I'm w/Slim on this one) And, with just about every truck co (with the noticeable exception of Independent) out there drilling the baseplate holes for old school fools too, why didn't Joey?

If you are setting up a vintage deck with modern trucks you can always drill the baseplate with careful measuring and a drill press. Or just join the future and use the correct holes and quit being true to rollerskate technology. I brought the small bolt hole pattern to production over 15 years ago. It simply works for skateboarding. It would have made sense even when I was a little guy, getting my gloves caught on the front hardware doing nose grabs and whatnot back in the '70's.

So would 66's fit on a 8-8.24 wide deck?

Not really. 8"-8.25" would be 33's if you like it wide then you could try 44's. The ACE ad recommends 33 for deck widths 7/75"-8.25"

We have ours on the way. I cant wait to try them. Some people are hyped on them, others are not. I will wait to try them out myself to see how they turn.
The 33s I setup turned fine. I hope the large sizes turn the same.

"the correct holes"? "rollerskate technology"? gimme a choice, like almost every other company is doing, & that simply makes sense for skateboard "technology"... the old way STILL works for sk8boarding too. Insert "Wide stance" joke here

I rode my 55's late night at the Lab. FANTASTIC Trucks ! Ive only ridden my custom trucks for the last several years and I was stoked on the ACE 55's. They turn great, rode great. I have only an hour and a half on them but I have put away my custom trackers for a while if that tells you anything.
An ACE 55 with a 8mm axle. Now that would be the shit !
These Trucks are killer! So far they get a RocknRons Thumbs up !

Got a pair of 66's. I have been riding Indy's for a few decades now, so it felt a little weird to even think about riding something else. I rode stage 3's when they were out but that was so long ago I couldn't really compare. A new set in Indy's in my local pool would take a few sessions before they felt right. First session the Ace's turn better, grind better and they even have a set of usable bushings in them! The turning difference is really amazing. I guess I'm gonna have to cover up that Indy tattoo I got in the 80's.

I tried out Rockin Rons for a few squiggles around the pool deck at the Lab and I was surprised at how much they felt like Indy's. I think I need to further review this soon.

I would prefer to ride stuff made in the good ol' USA, but I am gonna ride what works the best, and so far these trucks can turn circles around the stage 9's. I've only ridden them one session, but from what I can tell, they are better. I have been loyal to Indy since around 1984 for one reason, they were the best trucks. These guys have come a long with a direct copy of what Indy used to make, with some improvements, good for them. I'm sure they didn't have the facilities to produce these or it just made financial sense to manufacture in China. Whats the old saying? "Ride the Best, Fuck the Rest?"

unfortunatly for the China arguement... the ace trucks are constructed with more care and precision. Indy never let up on that NorCal weed... Not that I didn't ride through 5-6 sets of Indy's during that period they sold a grip of trucks with axels that were never hardened. I still have a box full of bent ones. and i still ride Indys.

Does any have a pic of the side profile of Ace trucks? One of the reason I gave up indys is that big Freaking lip on the hanger is unforgiving.
I can't confirm this but by looks alone I say they might be made by Jinan Emerson MFG..
They make Elements Trucks and Destructo's and some others on the DL

They're good out of the box. They turn like stage 3 Indys.
I like em, and I don't like anything.

Put my ACE 66 hangers in a set o' older Stage (not sure what #)Indy baseplates, w/Bones hard bushings, barely tightened, & found what I'm looking for - turns great, but real stable @ speed, & the length feels great on grinds, like the old 69's used to be before they chopped 'em down. The downside? They're already starting to wear through aluminum-wise
