Skull
That's so funny that it's going down while some other Salty Dog tour guys are in town.

Jeff Greenwood got some killer pics and Bill Danforth still kills it!!!! Great day and I was really bummed that of all the older guys who have been to Skatelab over the last 12 years and now never come could not even bother to come for one session on a Saturday afternoon. We have given bowl riders and skaters in general a place to roll 12 years now.
I am trying really hard guys and a little love would go a long way. I realize I am not concrete, wood or free but I am and have been down for Skateboarding for 30 years. Don't make the indoor parks like the drive ins of Cal. LAter.
Support Indoor.

I skated there with Greenwood, Eddie, Robert, Dave, and a few others this last Thursday night. Really appreciate everything that you've done over the years for skateboarding.

I agree with your Drive-In theater comment, fully. Sorry that I couldn't make it out, today. Was bummed that I couldn't.

Thanks Sumdum. I just had to vent a little because each year it gets harder and harder to keep it all happening. I bring cool skateboarders and events constantly and lately no one really appreciates it so it gets harder and harder for me to get motivated knowing no one really gives a shit and they should. PD from Skull Skates, Kevin Harris, Bill Danforth, Per Welinder and more legends came from far away and I was hoping more people would have come to show a little support. Maybe next time.

No worries on the vent, Todd. I can only imagine your frustration. Totally cool that all of those guys traveled for that... and yet a shame that not more of us made it out.

Cool pic of Bill on the grill, by the way.

Bitter Griller, haha.

It was super fun to have a Salty Dogs Tour reunion on the west coast. Salty Dogs Bill, Deerman and PD couldn't believe that a bunch of us just happened to be in LA at the same time as the demo.

From the vibe of the Skull crew, we all seemed to have a blast. The groms killed everything in the park. I think they had fun too. Thanks skatelab!

I am really sorry I could'nt make it, but my job had me working all Sat. I did want to go. Sounds like a good event.
Todd, you know us old crusty farts, as well as young bucks, appreciate what you do to provide a place to have fun for us, such as the other Thurs night. I needs my LAB therapy! I will be at the next event...plus let me know if you need help with it!

Eddie you are the last guy i was talking about. Without you we may as well just scrap the bowl and build something for the kids who are basically carrying us right now. Sorry to bitch but I get frustrated because I have been trying so hard with little results. We just spent a ton of $$ to reply the bowl and add that extension and we are definitely not seeing a return on our investment. Most of the older guys if they come at all only come on the one night it cost $4 to skate for 3 hours. Hard to make it work on that but we are still plugging along. Just seems like when there was nothing we were here and now that there is a ton of shit to ride we get a stiff middle finger from many. Hard to compete with Rule-less free parks but we are. Skate on and SUPPORT INDOOR because we supported you since 97.
