Airspeed skatepark designer/builder, Geth Noble, completed the full pipe 32 times in just under 30 minutes. This year four riders nailed it, Packy Fancher, Rion Linderman, Geth Noble, and Josh "Screech" Sandoval. Packy and Josh both showed the crowd earlier in the day that they could do the loop with no pads and no helmet. These two wore themselves out in all of the practice runs. While Geth sat back as a judge and watched the amateur comp all day. In the past three years Geth has only dreamed of doing the loop. All of these skaters made it look easy, the crowd was stunned with amazement. During the 30 minutes the loop was done over 76 times between all four skaters.
The Concrete Rodeo was a gathering of some the best locals around. It was show all day long of huge airs, inverts, loops. There were shops from all over being represented a long with many of the idustry's finest.
