I started out my day bright and late around eleven o’ clock., when a few friends and I piled into a car and headed to the Home Depot center in Carson, California. Usually the Home Depot center is filled with soccer and velodrome fans, and more recently the sad excuse for a skate contest better know as the x-games. On August 25, 2007 however it was filled with thousands of music fans for the last stop of the Warped Tour. We sat in traffic most of the way down there, but no one really cared as we listened to punk rock story telling with Henry Rollins. After sitting in complete gridlock less than a mile from the stadium we finally park. We picked up our passes and headed on in. Being the great friends they were my friends immediately ditched me to go watch some band, while I wandered off to go find essentially the Bible of the warped tour. What this basically is a little sheet that lists all the band names and times on them. After wandering around all the band buses and vans and asked like ten different people I finally found it. I then checked out the catering a little bit while band members sat down for a moments peace before their set to munch down raisin bran and coffee. Less than amused I found the halfpipe and hung out there for awhile. I said hi to Tim White, Mat Boyster, and a few other people and took a couple shots of the ramp. Once the session started to wind down a little I ventured over to the Old School stage where I caught the last few songs of Agent Orange who played an amazing set. Once Agent Orange exited the stage Revolution Mother took the stage and played an energetic set with lead singer Mike V. getting close enough to a few fans to where they could definitely tell if he had brushed his teeth that morning.

I ventured back over to catering and quickly scarfed down a few pears then met back up with my friends. They talked me into seeing some of their bands so I checked that out for awhile, then headed back over to the old school stage for the main reason I went to warped tour, The Adolescents. They put on a great show to an enthusiastic crowd by playing songs like No Way, Creatures, Who is Who, and many more. Once the Adolescents finished I ventured over to see Lower Class Brats who had one of the most insane crowds of the day who were trying to break down the barrier and charge the stage the whole set.

Once LCB finished I walked past like twenty cop cars got in my friend’s car, got lost around downtown LA for a little while then finally made it home. As I sat in bed in total silence with my ears ringing on full volume my only thought was, I can’t wait till’ next year.
