Ciril - Pink Cave 7" Ear-Pollution CD
May 25th, 2006 13:38
Now this was an interesting listen. It sounds like these dudes are into early Joy Division, and I know that they are into Siouxie and the Banshees since the B-side is a cover of Metal Postcard, one of my favorite tunes of hers. Their sound is different, but it doesn't seem fully realized. It certainly appears that they are heading in the right direction, and they could certainly pick worse bands to have as influences. Ciril is not gonna be everyone's cup of tea, but that's what makes them good. Plunk down a couple of bucks on this when it drops next month.
