The Stitches - 8 x 12" Ear-Pollution CD
May 20th, 2006 20:45
It seems like there are precious few punk bands that are worth anyone's time nowadays. It all sounds like so much rehash, and most of these folks are imitating bands whose formulas were really only good for a few albums anyway. And then there are the bands that the kids try to emulate. That's where The Stitches fit. They know how to make a goddamn punk song. High energy skate rock with sing-a-long choruses about the stuff punk rock dreams are made of: sex, drugs and some more drugs. They are hands down my favorite punk band from Orange County, and if you don't have 8 x 12" yet, you need to add it to your collection. Go buy this and donkey punch your girlfriend or something, I don't know.
