Bitter Bowl - suffering through the Canadian winter

I met Kevin when he came down here from Canada to visit the Rennies. Bill Rennie brought him to Ridiculous and we now hang out and skate whenever he gets down here. He built a pool in his yard. He calls it the Bitter Bowl. I asked him about these two images....  they are a stark contrast to one another.  Kevin said-  " The first picture was taken during a party I had for my buddy Ricky to help raise funds for his pool coping.  After he saw how easy it is to get a pool done, he started digging .He poured his pool only 4 months after I completed mine.His is the second backyard pool in Canada. I was first. Lets hope the trend continues. The second image is the mid -winter blues. The  Bitter Bowl  is filled to the coping with snow.
