filth and neglect
I am up early. It's always like that for me. On the days that I don't have to be anywhere, I can't sleep in... My mind goes warp speed. I think I'm built backwards. I was reading last night. Foreclosures and home loss are rising to an all-time high in the Los Angeles/ Riverside/ San Bernardino areas. People are getting knocked down hard. Greed and a thirst for oil has precipitated this whole thing. We made this mess! We should not be at war overseas. We need to be at war here in America. We need to fight a war against hate, ignorance and poverty on our own soil. It is difficult to be grateful when everything around you is falling down as well. I hope people are okay.
"Pray" "Faith" "Believe"
Families are simply driving away into the night. Houses are left vacant... front door open, furniture unused, trash piled to overflowing... The power and water are turned off. The pool turns green then black. All the miracles of family cease when the car leaves the driveway. It is sad. If we get knocked down at the wrong time in our lives, we stop believing in ourselves and the world around us. That is when things are at their worst. I see that happening all around me now. I hope people are okay... but in this economic mess, I'm not betting on it. Skate- Ozzie
